Stripped-Down
Shelters
(S*D*S) are part of an on-going project to consider
technologically intensive yet minimally spatialized shelters. Mechanisms,
prefabricated assembly systems, and transformable componentry are all
factors toward specific and self-contained
architectural entities.
In
addition to their compactness,
Stripped-Down-Shelters require
no penetration of the ground plane and, therefore, no
property.

Stripped-Down
Villas : Micro-Estates
(S*D*V) are part of an on-going project thatcompact selected aspects
of luxuriant living conditions down to a formulation of MICRO-ESTATES.
Eco/Mechs
are ecological agents that constitute an approach to decentralizing
infrastructure. As members of a METAL_ZOO
they act together to form a SWARM_INFRASTRUCTURE.

is an office for both applied and research-based projects in architecture,
print, multi-media, and critical texts. its current interests are focused
on the possibilities of architecture and computation. it is also interested
in what, in history, can problematize the way one works with digital
media in order to enact a tension between convention and experimentalism.
